SPECIFICATIONS & REGULATIONS
Mechanical Specifications:
- Bleed Trim Size: 8 1/2” x 11”
- Bleed Page Size: 8 3/4 x 11 1/4”
- Spread Trim Size: 17” x 11”
- Spread Bleed Page Size: 17 1/4” x 11 1/4”
- folded to 8 5/8 (low folio) & 8 7/8 (high folio) x 12 1/2”
- Untrimmed 4 page signature size: 17 1/2” x 12 1/2”
- Safety: No live copy within 3/8” of final trim.
- Printed: U.V Web offset, S.W.O.P. standard.
- Binding: saddle stitched
Digital Specifications:
- Ad / Graphic files submitted electronically must be provided in good quality, high resolution format.
- We accept the following files:
- PDF (preferred)
- .jpg or .tif (high resolution – at least 300 dpi in CMYK)
- InDesign or QuarkXPress files (ALL fonts and graphics included)
- StuffIt files are accepted for large files that need to be compressed
- Color Composite Proofs at 100% must be submitted with ALL files. Digital Matchprint proofs are preferred, however, Rainbow, Fuji or Kodak Digital Color Proofs
will be accepted. Color Laser proofs will be used for color break guide only and not actual
color matching.
- Digital files will be archived by the publisher for one year and then destroyed unless otherwise
advised by the advertiser or agency.
